Creating new opportunities – A1 Road and Path Sweepers

THE CHALLENGE

Although comparatively small with three employees and machines and therefore without legal obligation to document procedure A1 Road and Path sweepers were keen to put in place health and safety measures which showed their commitment to going above and beyond. SS Safety was asked to help improve health and safety standards with the aim of retaining current contracts and promoting expansion.

THE SOLUTION

SS Safety spent time with senior management as well as on site observing how the business worked and any procedures involved. They then designed a range of policies, risk assessments and method statements to reflect company operations.

This was followed up by a short half day safety awareness training package at the request of the Managing Director to reflect operational risk.
